Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Mountain) is the southernmost glacier in the Northern Hemisphere. Consisting of 13 peaks, among which Shanzidou is the highest with an altitude of 5,600 meters, the mountain stretches a length of 35 kilometers and a width of 20 kilometers. Looked from Lijiang Old Town in the south which is 15 kilometers away, the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain resembles a jade dragon lying in the clouds, hence the name.

In the early morning,the driver will pick you up at your hotel.
Then drive about 30KM to Jade Drgaon Snow Mountain Scenic Area. You will firstly reach Ganhaizi Meadow. Gan Haizi was originally a glacial lake in the mountains. Later, as the snow line rose, the water gradually decreased until it dried up, which is why it is referred to as "Gan Haizi" (Dry Lake). Here, one can see the sun shining on the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Then you will take a sightseeing bus for a short visiting through the Baishuihe River. It is said that the water of the Baishui River comes from the mouth of the Jade Dragon, infused with spirituality, and that it is a sacred place for love. After that, take a cable car to tour the Glacier Park (approximately 2 hours).
Take cable car to Glacier Park (appro 2h) . It is a gentle slope on the northeastern face of the main peak of Yulong Snow Mountain, where the white snow covers the ground during autumn, winter, and spring. In summer, glaciers formed more than 40,000 years ago can be seen here.
After lunch, you will enjoy the Impression Lijiang Show directed by Zhang Yimou. It is held in Ganhaizi Meadow about 3100M above the sea level.The performance takes place against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains and a blue sky serving as the curtain, showcasing the authentic feelings of the indigenous people towards heaven, earth, humanity, and mountains at an altitude of 3,050 meters.
Then take a battery cart to Blue Moon Valley（1.5h). The water in Blue Moon Valley is blue, clear, and translucent, like a mirror reflecting the lush forests on both banks, beautiful like a paradise on earth.
