Although climbing Haba Snow Mountain is challenging, due to the comprehensive factors of altitude, climate, and terrain, ordinary people can successfully reach the summit with good weather conditions, normal physical condition, and complete climbing equipment. Therefore, it has become the first snow mountain challenge for many snow mountain climbers in their lives.

Day 1: Lijiang - Haba Village

Driving distance: 150 kilometers, taking 2.5 hours
Altitude: 2700 meters
At 1:30 pm, Lijiang set off.All the way through the Tiger Leaping Gorge, stop at Tiger Leaping Gorge viewing platform to see the scenery, and then continue to travel to the Haba Snow Mountain, stop at the Haba Snow Mountain viewing platform to see the Haba Snow Mountain and Haba village in full view. Then we will arrive at Haba Village at the foot of Haba Snow Mountain and stay at Haba Inn. Dinner will be a table meal.After the meal ,professional mountaineering steward or mountaineering team leader will have pre-travelling meeting, and sort out the equipment and supplies.
Day 2: Haba Village - Big Meadow - Daqila - Base Camp

Accommodation: Base Camp
Hiking distance: 8 kilometers, taking 5-6 hours
Altitude: 2700 to 4080 meters
Having breakfast at 9am and then depart from Haba Inn, passing through the small and big meadow, crossing the Gan river, and arriving at Haba Base Camp (altitude 4080). After dinner at the base camp, the mountain guide will organize supplies such as ice claws and picks for the team members. After packing their backpacks, then everyone go to bed.
Day 3: Base Camp - Summit - Down to Haba Village - Lijiang

Hiking distance: 12 kilometers round-trip to the summit+8 kilometers back to Haba Village
Altitude: 4080 to 5396 meters
Departing from the base camp at 3am, passing through small forests, passing through large stone slabs, passing through snow lines, climbing the Despair Slope, crossing Moon Bay, and finally successfully reaching the summit of Haba Snow Mountain. After retreating back to the base camp along the original route, returning to Haba Village.(Note: Climbing to the top requires suitable weather and one's own good physical condition in order to succeed.) You withdraw from the base camp to Haba Village, you can choose to ride horses at your own expense. If the summit is successful on the same day, you can get a certificate of summit.Leaving Haba Village around 6 o'clock, take the car back to Lijiang. (If reach to Haba Village for more than 6 o'clock, you need to stay one more night, and return to Lijiang in the morning of the fourth day.)

Service Excluded
- Personal horse riding fee(The weight limit for horseback riding in Haba Village is 75kg. If it exceeds 75kg, an additional 10 CNY will be charged per kg.);
- Tip for the guide when reaching the summit, with a minimum of 200 yuan, to be given at will;
- Other personal consumption, such as alcohol, beverages, snacks, and others;
- Climbing summit certificate and photo frame(Photo frame 50 CNY, certificate 100 CNY);

Environmental Protection
Please take care of the environment, do not litter with cigarette butts or garbage. Personal garbage should be packed in bags and taken away. Encourage picking up garbage on the road, respect local customs and traditions, and cherish wildlife and plants.
