Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Lijiang - Haba Village

Driving Distance: 150 kilometers, for 2.5 hours
Altitude: 2700 meters
At 1:30 pm, set off from Lijiang, move all the way along the Tiger Leaping Gorge, and stop at Tiger Leaping Gorge viewing platform to view the scenery. Then, continue to travel to the Haba Snow Mountain and stop at the Haba Snow Mountain viewing platform to see the Haba Snow Mountain and Haba Village in full view. Afterwards, we will arrive at Haba Village at the foot of Haba Snow Mountain and stay at Haba Inn. Dinner will be a table meal. After the meal, the professional mountaineering steward or mountaineering team leader will organise a pre-travel meeting and sort out the equipment and supplies.
Day 2: Haba Village - Dera Ranch - Sheep House Ranch - Orchid Meadow Campsite

Hiking Distance: 5 kilometers, for 3 hours
Altitude: 3000 to 3600 meters
Around 8 am, have lunch at Haba Inn, pack up and depart from Haba Inn to the trekking start point. Then, travel through the Sheep House Ranch and through the misty forest which is the most difficult part today. After that, you’ll arrive at Orchid Meadow Campsite, which is right in front of the snowy mountains. And then, you can enjoy the campsite BBQ or hotpot in the evening. (Horse riding is optional for this section.)
Day 3: Orchid Meadow Campsite - Azalea Forest - Wetland - Heihai Lake - Base Camp

Hiking Distance: 12 kilometers, for 6-7 hours
Altitude: 3600 to 4080 meters
Have breakfast around 8 am. Then, depart from the campsite and travel through primitive alpine rhododendron forests and alpine wetlands to enjoy the beautiful scenery of alpine lakes and snow capped mountains at Heihai Lake. After that, travel around the Huanghai Lake and move all the way to reach the base camp.
Day 4: Base Camp - Mountaintop - Haba Village - Lijiang

Meals: Early morning breakfast and simple dinner
Hiking Distance: 12 kilometers round-trip to the summit & 8 kilometers back to Haba Village
Altitude: 4080 to 5396 meters
Start from the base camp at 3 am. Walk through small forests and move up along Dashiban slope and snow lines, and then climb up the steep Despair Slope and walk to the beautiful Moonlight Bay. Finally, you’ll successfully reach the summit of Haba Snow Mountain. After activities at mountaintop, move back to the base camp and return to Haba Village. And then, we’ll transfer you to Lijiang. (Kindly note: Climbing to the top of Haba Snow Mountain requires proper climate and good physical condition.)
When you move back from the base camp to Haba Village, you can choose to ride horse at your own expense. If you successfully reach the top of the mountain, you can get a Summit Certificate.

- Outdoor mountaineering insurance : 6000 meter-level mountaineering insurance;
- Person-to-person high mountain guide in the section of summiting the mountain, improving the success rate and safety of climbing the mountain;

- Public pack horse fee. Your packs will be carried by horses or mules, allowing you to climb light;

- Personal horse riding fee (The weight limit for horse riding in Haba Village is 75kg. If it exceeds 75kg, an additional 10 CNY will be charged per kg.);
- Summit Certificate and photo frame (50 CNY for photo frame, 100 CNY for certificate);
- Tip for the guide when reaching the summit (a minimum of 200 CNY, to be given at will);
- Other personal consumption, such as alcohol, beverages, snacks, etc.;
