Nujiang Lisu autonomous prefecture, known for the world heritage site Three Parallel Rivers and other breath-taking landscape, as well as the region's unique ethnic minorities culture, is ideal for travel all year around, but the best time to visit is from October to the April next year. The scenery there is more beautiful during the spring and autumn than other seasons. The Nujiang River flows in a blue or green color, showing an enchanting natural beauty, and the Nujiang Grand Canyon is also a must-visit attraction (kindly note that the Nujiang Grand Canyon is closed from May to September, since during the rainy season, the Nujiang River flows with a prominently larger volume).
