You will find extraordinary sceneries in Jiaozi Snow Mountain including many beautiful lakes such as the Heavenly Pond, the Mubang Lake, the Spirit Pond, the Heavenly Pond at Green Valley, the Heroes’ Pond, and the Palanquin Curtain Lake, etc. Glacier erosion contributed a lot to the formation of these lakes. A legend has it that there is a dragon deep in one of the lakes, so, people should not roar near the lake, not to mention throwing stones into it. Set off to Jiaozi Snow Mountain at around 07:30am. After arrival, take a cable way to visit Jiaozi Snow Mountain, do some hiking to visit the summit of Jiaozi Mountain.
7:30 Pick-Up: Start your day early to make the most of your time. Depart from your hotel in Kunming and begin the drive to Jiaozi Snow Mountain, approximately 3 hours away (88 km from Kunming).
11:00 Arrival at Jiaozi Snow Mountain
Take Xinshanyakoo cable way to Sifangjing
Take shuttle bus 25m to Xiapingzi. Altitude: 3140 -3500 m
Take Xiapingzi cable way to Daheiqing. Altitude: 3500-3850 m
Start hiking to summit. Two way to choose: Yueliangyan and Huaxi
Summit Views: At 4,223 meters above sea level, the summit offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. On clear days, you can see the mountain’s snow-covered peaks against the blue sky.
