After breakfast, take a bus to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is China’s first national forest park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a global geopark. Visit the Yuanjiajie core scenic area (with a complimentary one-way ride on the Bailong Elevator). The Hallelujah Mountain, where the movie "Avatar" was filmed (approx. 1.5 hours), leads you to Pandora—the fantastical world of floating mountains depicted in the film. Visit the Heaven's First Bridge, surrounded by clouds and peaks, showcasing the spectacular views that are too much to take in. After breakfast, travel to the renowned literary master Jin Yong's "Tianmen Fairy Mountain"—Tianmen Mountain. Experience its six ancient mysteries and five major highlights: 1. The world’s longest passenger cableway, 2. One of the world’s eight most terrifying plank roads—the Ghost Valley Glass Plank Road, 3. The world’s highest aerial garden, 4. After breakfast, take a boat ride on Tuojiang River (no refunds if boat ride is impossible due to official reasons). Tuojiang is the mother river of Fenghuang Ancient Town, gently flowing along the city wall and nurturing generations of the town's residents. Board a wooden boat, listen to the boatman’s call, and see the century-old Tujia stilt houses on both banks—there's a unique charm. Drift downriver beneath Hongqiao, revealing a picturesque scene of southern water townships: Wanshou Palace, Wanmings Tower, Duocui Building... a feeling of being far removed from the world envelops you. The southern bank of Tuojiang hosts the ancient city wall, built of purple-red sandstone, elegant yet majestic; it features two city towers that, despite the passage of time, remain magnificent. The waters of Tuojiang are crystal clear, the river channel beside the wall is shallow, and gentle currents reveal swaying water plants; a long pole can be used to leisurely navigate along. The intangible cultural heritage of Xiangxi surrounds you as you appreciate the works of inheritors, taste the century-old ginger candy, try the Miao's blood puddings and drink the aromatic Miao wine—every moment is delightful!
