The Six Banyan Temple, Guangzhou’s premiere Buddhist cultural site will be your next stop.  Built over 1,400 years ago, the banyan trees are gone, but the elegant octagonal Hua Ta Pagoda still towers over the temple grounds.
And you could experience the local herb culture in Qingping market and Western Building Culture in Shamian Island.

This largest park in Guangzhou boosts for its beautiful scenery over the Yuexiu Hill all year round and the sculpture of five goats on the hill has turned into the symbol of the city. Time also allows you to browse through Zhenhai Tower in the park, which now houses the Guangzhou Museum with exhibits showing the history of Guangzhou from Neolithic times until nowadays. Compared with daytime cruises on the Pearl River, night cruises are more attractive. The sparkling lights on both banks of the river and the moon reflecting on its waters create a magical atmosphere. Night cruises start from the White Goose Pool and end at either the Guangzhou Bridge in the east or the Baihedong (White Crane Cave) in the south.
During the one hour cruise every visitor will be entranced by the beauty of the Pearl River and sights such as the White Goose Pool, Zhuhai Square, Aiqun Mansion, the Guangzhou Hotel and the European architecture of Shamian Island buildings.
