- Hongya Cave: I encountered the real-life "Spirited Away" in Chongqing. Hongya Cave is built along the mountain and river, featuring unique traditional Ba-Yu architectural characteristics—“stilted houses.” When the lights turn on at night, the entire complex presents a spectacular and dazzling scene that makes one feel as if they are in a fairy tale world.

Day 2: Chongqing

After breakfast at the hotel, head to Tian Keng San Qiao, the world’s largest and tallest bead-like natural bridge group. Tianlong Bridge is the First Bridge, Qinglong Bridge is the Second Bridge, and Heilong Bridge is the Third Bridge. These three natural stone arch bridges, averaging over 300 meters in height, are arranged lengthwise, grand in scale and imposing in manner, spanning the Yangshui River gorge and connecting the mountain bodies on both sides. Between the three natural stone arch bridges are Qinglong Sinkhole and Shenying Sinkhole, forming the unique global landscape of “three bridges surrounding two sinkholes.”
Then proceed to Fairy Mountain, praised for its high-altitude grasslands with unique charm typical of Jiangnan, the rare snowfield of the southern region, and the enchanting beauty of its forest and green fields, earning it the titles of “South China’s Premier Pasture” and “Switzerland of the East.” Its stunning pastoral landscapes stand out uniquely in Chongqing.
In the afternoon, visit "Impression Wulong," a live performance directed by artistic consultants Zhang Yimou and directors Wang Chaoge and Fan Yue, featuring over 100 unique actors performing live, based on the nearly extinct “hunting songs,” allowing the audience to personally experience the breathtaking natural landscapes and unique customs of the Bashu region during the 70-minute show.
